Multiple Intelligences Book Projects
_ HTH GSE 200- Equity, Diversity, and Design Principles
I began incorporating book projects in my classroom to make at-home independent reading more connected to the class. I found book projects that use the multiple intelligences approach and my students loved the choices.

Learning Menus Discovery Card
HTH GSE 240- Inclusive Classrooms
For this GSE course I chose to implement learning menus into my morning routine. I loved the flexibility they offered for my students. This activity also allowed my students to choose what they wanted to do.

Dreaming and Doing Project
For this project I really had to examine what was in my heart when it comes to students and teachers. What would my dream school look like? How would the staff and students feel at my school?
Heifer International: A Project Based Learning Unit
I am passionate about bringing the world into my classroom. When I began to ponder what type of project I wanted to attempt for my first PBL unit I naturally turned to the global organization Heifer International, which gives livestock to families in need around the world to help them sustain life. I guided my students through experiences that enabled them to raise money to buy animals that they chose to donate to Heifer Int. Our goal was to raise $1220 (which was the total amount that it took to purchase all of the animals that the students chose including a cow, a goat, a sheep, bees, a pig, chickens, and rabbits). We ended up raising $1241!
